Polyisobutylene
Our main products are Polyisobutylene(Custom
international HIS Code:39022000) , Isobutylene & Methanol.
We
can produce 8,000T/Year of Isobutylene by MTBE cracking method.
This equipment can produce chemical grade Isobutylene and
polymerization grade Isobutylene. The assay can reach 99.9%. We are the
one of largest manufacturer in China for Isobutylene.
Our
company is located in the LinAn City industry zone, which is an economic
development zone of Zhejiang province. Our company covers an area
of 33300sq.m. with 100 employees.
Our operation
is following the regulations of ISO9001 quality system and ISO14001
environment system.
Polyisobutylene is a synthetic rubber, or elastomer. It is
special because it is that only rubber that is gas impermeable, that
is, it is the only rubber which can hold air for long periods of
time. You may have noticed that balloons will go flat after a few
days. This is because they are made of polyisoprene, which is not
gas impermeable. Because polyisobutylene will hold air, it is used
to make things like the inner liner of tires, and the inner liners
of basketballs.
Polyisobutylene, sometimes called butyl rubber, and other
times PIB, is a vinyl polymer, and is very similar to
polyethylene and polypropylene in structure, except that every other
carbon is substituted with two methyl groups. It is made from
the monomer isobutylene, by cationic vinyl polymerization.
